Paper Pumpkin' Alternates for July 2015 Kit

August 13, 2015

THANKS A LATTE

Succulents! These little beauties are so on trend right now. I love this July Paper Pumpkin' kit and also the fact that it is perfectly timed with this succulent trend. I think it is my favorite PP kit to date. I sat down last weekend to craft and used up the entire kit contents in one sitting. Guess I'll be buying a replacement kit.

Here are all of my alternates. I only made one card with the suggested template — all of the other projects came together easily just playing around. And here is a link to more alternates for this kit on pinterest.

I switched up the colors for few more projects adding just a little Bermuda Bay to the color palette.

Blending Brush fail … but I made this card work in the end. The paper on the Specialty Embossed Cards has a little tooth and I could not get a smooth blend. Enter operation cover it all up. Haha. This blue and purple winter card uses tidbits from the Calm & Bright kit. I used the negative shape from the fir die cut to create a stencil and layered from there. Blend, stencil, stamp. Colors are Highlander Heather, Cloud Cover, & Lost Lagoon. @global_design_project #gdp525 #stampinup #calmandbright
Masking and stamping! On this card I mask with tape, blend ink, then stamp, then stencil, and stamp again to create a layered scene. It’s so satisfying to remove the masking tape… always a fun reveal.
