April Card club

We had a great time at April card club.  Such a fun group of women.

Here are the projects from April card club.  I featured some Occasions products and a lot of 2012-14 in color products - which retire at the end of May.  All three of the cards we made move or create user interaction in some way.

The Mother's day card is a slider card, you lift up the tag to reveal a hidden message underneath. Super easy to create using the word window punch and dimensionals.  The stamp set used is called 'So Very Grateful' from the Occasions catalog, $16.95.

We create a penny spinner card using the stamp set and coordinating framelits 'Just Sayin'.  This card features 2012 In colors, which retire soon.

Lastly we created what I'll call a spinner card using the set 'Cycle Celebrations'.  The center rotates off center because the brad is off center. Simple.  This card also features retiring colors including coordinations papers.

Here is the link to lists of retiring products - available while supplies last if you are interested. Contact me to order.

Maui day 3

And more fun. The weather has been a bit windy today. Ok, really windy. We booked our snorkel trip for the windiest day. We are cool like that. Not much sea life to see on this trip. I think the fish were shirking the wind a bit. The boat ride was rather rough, lots of wind, big swells, lots of sea sickness from the other passengers. Eyes on the horizon. We did see quite of few sea turtles, even from the boat, which Nic dug. The turtles are mammoth it seems, way bigger than the little turtle at the Living Planet Aquarium.

We returned home sun tired. There was a brief power outrage (2 hours). We napped. Kind of creepy to be in a huge hotel without power... Then more pool, reading and the like.

French toast for dinner. Yep, vacation. Nice day.

Maui day 2

A bit if a rainy and windy day. Still gorgeous and fun. Started the day off with a sunrise beach walk. Nic is always up and ready to go. Then a little snorkeling at black rock, and lounging poolside. Ended the day with a traditional Luau.
