Jane's Doodles - NEW RELEASE HOP featuring Surfs Up and Fresh Cut Flowers

June 25, 2021

Surfs Up

Fresh Cut Flowers

Hello friends! If you are new here my name is Charlet and I am an avid paper crafter and card maker. If you know me well you know I am a HUGE lover of stamps, all stamps and especially CUTE STAMPS. I have my regular GO TO sources but I love to branch out.

I am excited to have been invited as a guest and join this month’s blog/instagram hop showcasing some super cute stamps from Jane’s Doodles. If you are following the hop in order you should be arriving from Katja.

These two stamp sets above (Surfs Up and Fresh Cut Flowers) are brand spanking new and I am thrilled I got an advanced opportunity to play with them.

Let’s get to it! I am sharing three cards today using these two sets. I've had a blast coloring these images. These darling stamps were made to color.

This first card is a shaker birthday card and it features the Surfs Up set. I’ve colored the surfing crocodile and the surfing mouse with Copics. The background has been watercolored and then stamped repeatedly with the water wave image.

This shaker is full of fun and sparkly sequins. All the greetings are included in this set as well.

This next card uses the tall skinny flower vase images from the Fresh Cut Flowers set. I’ve stamped it three times and colored using Copic markers. The flower images have been cut out using my Brother Scan n Cut. The background has been watercolored in a simple circle. Sweet and simple!

This last card is all about layers and texture. I watercolored the background and then added some texture paste using a stencil from Tim Holtz. The flower image had been coloring using Copic markers and then cut out using my Brother Scan n Cut.

As a special bonus you can receive 25% off your order (this weekend only). Two things I love … a good deal and stamps!

BONUS! Jane Doodles is picking one winner to choose a FREE stamp set of your choice. All you need to do is either comment on a blog or like/comment on the instagram posts that are part of this hop. Easy peasy!

Next up on our hop is Tom. A full blog / insta link up can be found below. Happy stamping!

Stamping a scene … I always marvel at how quickly a project can come together when stamping. Sometimes I like to stamp on wet paper as it can make the ink bleed and blur. For this card I built a collage scene with a bunch of stamps and layered with die cut shapes from the Queen Bee bundle. 🐝 #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking #cardmakingreels #gdp564
