Hello and welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Thing monthly blog hop. This hop is all creating and sharing alternate products for the current Paper Pumpkin kit. This month’s Paper Pumpkin kit is called ‘Wonderful Family’.

I’ve made two alternate cards using the supplies from the kit (Father’s Day card and a birthday card). I have added additional ink, cardstock, and the ‘Well Written’ dies to create these new card ideas.

Card 1 - Fun tip: The Father’s Day card uses the negative shape of the leaves to create a stencil. I sponged ink to create a subtle shadow for the die cut leaves.

Card 2 - Fun Tip: Stamp the tree leaves twice (once on top and then flip and stamp for the bottom) to create a full oval blossom. This Petal Pink Blossom reminds me a little bit of a Hydrangea, a nice flower to have a few butterflies around.
