TGIF Challenges 297 - Black and White

Happy New Year! A new year means a new round of card making challenges. I am excited to continue designing with the TGIF Design team. These designers are a talented and kind bunch.

This week we are designing around Black & White. It’s a classic color combo that can make any card elegant. This card features sneaks of a few new goodies from the Jan - June mini catalog and Saleabration: Corner Bouquet, Many Messages, and Floating & Fluttering.

We have a new baby in the neighborhood and so I crafted this sweet welcome card using the 'Notes of Spring' stamp set and 'Eyelets Blooms' die. Both products are a screaming deal at 5$ each with qualifying purchase. Get in my cart! Ha. I'm a sucker for a good deal, who isn't? A sweet card for a sweet friend! We are CASING the amazing @tinkermom85 this week @global_design_project - I love how Wendy stamped on patterned paper to add a quick pop of color. I took a similar approach and stamped the berries from the 'Filled with Sweetness' stamp set onto red patterned paper. The green stems were stamped directly onto Garden Green cardstock and then cut out and layered onto the red berries. Water & ink. I used water and classic ink to create this soft pastel card. Paper: watercolor paper. I used a variety of flower punches from my collection to create the multi-layered flowers.
