Hello and welcome the the Paper Pumpkin Thing monthly blog hop where we share alternate products for the kits contents. This month’s Paper Pumpkin kit is called ‘A Little Smile’ and is nautical in theme.

This kit features the supplies to make 16 mini note cards, the perfect size for a gift card. I made few of these as directed. The kit also includes envelopes for the notecards and a fun plastic pouch for containing the cards.

As you may know, I like full size cards so I used the original components and reworked them a bit for a full size card.

A Little Smile - Paper Pumpkin Alternates, Charlet Mallett - Stampin’ Up!

As for the mini note cards … You can package them all up in a cute little plastic pouch that is included in the kit. I created four cards (as designed) and packaged with the envelopes in the pouch.I added a simple gift tag. The tag is another alternate project using bits of leftovers from the kit. This will make a nice hostess gift.

Just like last month I am totally in love with the stamp set from this kit. The sand dollar, starfish and coral are so fun. I wanted to see these images in BRIGHT colors. My other alternates mix up the colors a bit and focus on the stamp images.

The colors I used are Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch and Coastal Cabana. The greeting is popped on black and creates a really striking look.
