2022 Artisan Design Team ... Lightening can strike twice!

November 13, 2021

I am sitting here writing this post in disbelief. Creative lightening can strike twice!

The last couple of months I’ve been keeping a big secret and surprise. I’ve known this news since September but have been sworn to utter secrecy. Ha! The news ... I have been selected to be a part of the 2022 Stampin’ Up! Design Team! The announcement was officially made by Stampin’ Up! this afternoon and I can safely share that I get to join Artisan Design team once again. I am so excited to create for Stampin’ Up! in an official capacity next year. Starting in January 2022 you will regularly see posts and projects from me featuring awesome SU products.

The announcement came today during the the 2021 Virtual OnStage event. I had no idea who else had been selected as an Artisan. It’s odd to receive an award in the quiet comfort of your craft room. No walking the stage or crowd hugs (thanks COVID). However the pets and family cheered loudly, which is just a good. HAHA. Many thoughtful DM’s came in through Instagram. THANKS FRIENDS. I’m lucky to know many of these talented Artisans and I hope to meet many of the new Artisans virtually soon.

If 2018 showed me anything I know this journey will be a lot of work and I am up for this exciting challenge. THANK YOU Stampin’ Up! for selecting me to be a part of your next ARTISAN team!

THE GIFT: This year’s gift is gorgeous keepsake box created on tones of purples and blues. Here is the customized gift box that all of the Artisans were awarded. Included inside was a beautiful engraved Tiffany bracelet and a personalized Artisan name stamp. We were also gifted a cash bonus and a product shopping spree. I can’t wait to share what products I pick with you.

The 2022 team includes 20 demonstrators from all over the world. This group of amazing crafters is sure to keep us all inspired.

Stay tuned for projects, ideas and tips. This new team will start sharing projects beginning 2022. Until then continue to support and encourage the 2021 Design Team. These talented stampers are putting in the hard work now of showcases SU products in new and unique ways and they always inspire me! XO - Charlet

This blue and purple winter card uses tidbits from the Calm & Bright kit. I used the negative shape from the fir die cut to create a stencil and layered from there. Blend, stencil, stamp. Colors are Highlander Heather, Cloud Cover, & Lost Lagoon. @global_design_project #gdp525 #stampinup #calmandbright
Masking and stamping! On this card I mask with tape, blend ink, then stamp, then stencil, and stamp again to create a layered scene. It’s so satisfying to remove the masking tape… always a fun reveal. Sending Joy! I created this wintry scene using the Calm and Bright card kit. I love the look of white on white. I pulled in some gold embossing and Crumb Cake to balance out all that white. This CAS kit has tons of cute and tiny elements (yippee for tiny stamps) that are perfect for creating an adorable little holiday scene. 166461 Card created for @global_design_project BRRR theme. #gdp523 #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking #cardmakersofinstagram #cardmakingreels #madewithmine
