Stamping Society - Cactus Cuties

March 1, 2022

Hello, hello! Welcome to 2022 edition of the Stamping Society Monthy tutorial.

What is Stamping Society? We are group of international stampers who showcase an idea monthly through a blog hop and then offer the exclusive written instructions for that idea through an easy to navigate tutorial. The tutorial showcases all 6 ideas along with measurements, photos and a video. Details on how to get the written tutorial at the end of this post.

This month we are sharing ideas using the Lady Bug punch bundle from the January to June mini catalog. You’ll notice I’m sharing cactus … LOL, I didn’t get the Ladybug bundle so the team agreed I could share a different punch bundle. There are a few really good ones in the catalog: Ladybug, Cactus, Hedgehogs. and Sail Boats come to mind. I’m sure there is one you will like.

I am featuring the ‘Cactus Cuties’ punch bundle. See this card come to life in my free video tutorial. A full list of supplies can be found at the end of this post.

Want another bonus??!! Use this HOSTESS CODE QYFDNYF6 when placing your order online and get another free gift from me in April.

A white wedding card with a little black tie! This card is so much prettier in person. I had such a difficult time trying to photograph the white irridescent foil on the Basic White Cardstock. I used layers of white ribbons, vellum, cardstock, and foil to create this look. Card created for @stampinfancyfriday B&W challenge. I’m not a blending brush expert. Ink blending takes patience, and time but when you stamp on top of it, you can hardly see the mistakes… ha! Spooky trick. I used a circle punch and post it note to create a simple mask and set to blending a moody night sky. Cards created using the ‘Oh My Fright’ stamp set for #gdp568 #ohmyfright #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmakingreels

I used hot foil to create this card and a second card with the leftover negative foil from the hot foil die. Two for one! There’s something just so satisfying about peeling the foil away from the card stock. Foil is Light Pink.
