Hello friends! I’m excited to share a couple new spring cards I created for Stampin’ Up! as part of the Artisan Design team. This is my February assignment. This month we created projects using the Daffodil Daydreams bundle. I made these two cards using traditional spring colors: Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam, Daffodil Delight, & Mango Melody.
I love daffodils! When I see them popping up it means Spring has arrived. They bloom later here in Maine as our winter lasts so long.
This ‘You are Amazing’ card features the daffodil flower dies from the bundle. These have been cut using Daffodil Delight, & Mango Melody. The flowers are easy to build and assemble once cut. Did you notice that cool Granny Apple Green background pattern paper? It’s a great match to the daffodils. That pattern is part of the Pattern Party HOST Designer Series Papers. The text paper is called Designer Layers Vellum. A full list of supplies can be found below.
This Mother’s Day card features the stamp set. The image have been colored using Stampin’ Blends. I used the Stamparatus and the hinge step to create the repeating lattice background. This background has been stamped in Versamark and heat set using white emboss powder.
