Made a couple of cute cards on World Cardmaking day using the Check You Out stamp set. This set is ADORABLE.

New Chapter Card: Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Pool Party.

Card making tip of the day: I gather all my card pieces together and arrange a rough layout before I tack anything down. Simple idea but saves a lot of frustration. Speaking of frustration, I can’t seem to get a clean heat foil transfer with this clear iridescent foil film & the buffalo check plate! The foil is a couple years old… does foil film expire? Or is it just user error? The foiled piece isn’t perfect but I used it anyway. Part of the handmade charm. I used the Buffalo Check Hot Foil Die along with the Winter Adventure Bundle. I just LOVE the snowshoe dies in this bundle. So cute! Paper trickery! I used 1/4 inch strips of cardstock to create stripes. I cut these into 1/4 inch strips and offset for a checked pattern. I like how this looks like primitive Halloween decor. #heroarts #halloweencard #cardmakingreels #papercrafting
