Manly Occasions - Paper Pumpkin Alternates for May 2016

I feel like I am always a bit behind on making my Paper Pumpkin Kits - a month late I guess. What do you think of the May Manly Occasions kit? Here are a select few of the alternates I created. I've seen some really amazing cards with this kit and am super inspired by them. I'm not sure I pushed myself enough with these samples, oh well. We have a new baby in the neighborhood and so I crafted this sweet welcome card using the 'Notes of Spring' stamp set and 'Eyelets Blooms' die. A sweet card for a sweet friend! We are CASING the amazing @tinkermom85 this week @global_design_project - I love how Wendy stamped on patterned paper to add a quick pop of color. I took a similar approach and stamped the berries from the 'Filled with Sweetness' stamp set onto red patterned paper. The green stems were stamped directly onto Garden Green cardstock and then cut out and layered onto the red berries. Water & ink. I used water and classic ink to create this soft pastel card. Paper: watercolor paper. I used a variety of flower punches from my collection to create the multi-layered flowers.
