We made it to St. Louis. In line now for the "Journey to the Top."

Cut, cut, cut! I used the ‘Gears and Textures’ dies to cut a variety of shapes to create this slimline card for #gdp530 sketch challenge - that metallic paper is super cool and is called Textured Metallic. Gears are cut from the tungsten and chain is cut from copper. Cardstock colors: Lost Lagoon & Pretty Peacock. #stampinup #cardmaker #gearsandtextures #cradmakingreel

Gears! ⚙️ Have you seen the new 'Gears & Textures' bundle from Stampin’ Up!? It just arrived in my mailbox and I was so excited to give it a spin. I love this bundle, even if I’m not 100% in love with my project. This set has so much potential, and the creative gears are definitely turning. I can’t wait to play with it more. Big wood-mounted background stamps… I love them! This reel shows how I created this card using wood those stamps. This Valentine card features emboss resist painting and tone-on-tone stamping. Stamps are called TREE RINGS and DICTIONARY (vintage Stampin’ Up!), straight from my collection. These giant stamps never go out of style. Background stamps. I love them. And they’re the theme for our first Use Your Stash Hop of 2026. One of my goals this year is to reach for what I already have and let go of the “new, new, new” mindset that can sneak into crafting. Don’t get me wrong, I love a shiny new product as much as anyone, but this year I really want to play more with my existing collection and rediscover why I fell in love with it in the first place. Are you familiar 'Use Your Stash'? UYS is a monthly instagram hop where my friends and I get crafty and use what we have on hand. I have a pretty serious collection of wood-mounted background stamps and was thrilled to have a great reason to ink up a couple of them. This card uses the 'Dictionary' and 'Tree Rings' background stamps. I also pulled in two old Valentine stamp sets: 'Love Bandit' & 'I (HEART) Hearts'.
