I adore Susan! She is the kindest person and super talented. I was thrilled when she joined the Global Design Project and I am thrilled today to CASE her card. I played off the layout and the monochromatic look of her card to make mine. This card features one of the NEWEST Stampin' Up! InColors: Pale Papaya. The stamp set is called 'Quiet Meadow'. Hand-Penned Petals - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Hello friends! Welcome to the Hand-Penned Petals Edition of Stamp Review Crew.

This is one of the first flower sets I purchased from the new Stampin’ Up! catalog. I love the hand drawn and painterly look fo the flowers. This beautiful stamp set also has coordinating dies and papers.

I did not use the coordinating papers on my cards today. Instead I am showcasing a different look incorporating three new InColors: Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink. I adore these three new colors and love how they look together. Good news … all of these new colors are available in a Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker.

Monday Montage 189 - Etched in Nature

Hello friends. Welcome to the Montage Montage Blog hop.

This weekend has been filled with Mother’s Day activities. I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day or day celebrating those fantastic caregivers.

We took my MIL to dinner on Friday and this is the card that accompanied her gift. She enjoys birds (she just had to pull in her bird feeders due to bears). This sweet and simple card is a safe way to ‘look’ at birds. LOL.

This card is all about tiny and subtle details. I added highlight details to the bird image using a white gel pen. This bird stamps a little heavy so I wanted to break up all the black. Notice the subtle text in the background? The greeting has been stamped in Versamark ink and headset using clear emboss powder.
