TGIF Challenges: TGIFC281 - Christmas Means More

September 10, 2020

I was a little last this morning adding my sketch card to this challenge. I had forgotten to make a card earlier in the week and quickly whipped this out. I was so relieved to see the TGIF Challenges team has a sketch to work from. It made creating a card quickly so easy.

My card uses various patterns from Trimming the Town and the Brights Designers Series paper packs to create the grid. The greeting is from the “Christmas Means More’ stamp set. I had to have this set as this quote is from my favorite Christmas movie, ELF.

Play along with us! So easy to participate. Check out the TGIFChallenges blog for more details and inspiration. Tag your projects #tgifc281 so the TGIF Challenges design team are sure to see them.

Beautiful Autumn - Stamp Review Crew

September 6, 2020

Welcome to the Beautiful Autumn Edition of SRC. This stamp and punch bundle of products are super easy to use. My project today is simple and classic with a little bit a metallic flare. I dry embossed 1/3 of a sheet of Crumb Cake card stock with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing folder.

The greeting has been stamped and heat embossed using gold emboss powder. I stamped the acorns and punched them out using the acorn punch to adorn the front of the card.

What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month.

Ready for more inspiration using this stamp set? Next up is Holly. Be sure to go through the hop to see what ALL my talented friends have created using this set. Thanks in advance for taking the time to comment. I love to hear from you.

Global Design Project - GDP256 - Peace & Joy

August 31, 2020

Hello friends! Welcome to another Global Design Project challenge. This week we CASEing this card from the Talented Kayla McCreadie.

I love the classic look of Kayla’s card. I especially adore the tone on tone look with the die cut paper layered onto the same color of card stock. It makes the card really interesting without being overly busy.

My card features the Peace & Joy stamp and die bundle. I’ve use the word dies PEACE, JOY and BRIGHT to create the layered background. I used the fine tip glue pen to adhere all the words to the card base. Super fun.
