Monday Montage 165 - Itty Bitty Greetings

Hello friends! The Montage Montage crew is back today to share what we are working on.

While I patiently wait for my Stampin’ Up! preorder to arrive I am using up some of my favorite retiring papers. I love the tiny feathers in the Bird Ballad Designer Series paper. I hand cut out a few feathers to create a simple Father’s day card. Father’s day is going to sneak up on me before I know it so I am happy to have a card handy.

TGIF Challenges: TGIFC265 Theme Challenge - Travel

Hello friends. TGIF Challenges has a fun theme challenge for you this week: Travel. There is not much travel happening around these parts… as I heard Steven Colbert recently tweet “I still haven’t decided where to go for my week off, but I’ve got it narrowed down to the kitchen or the den.” Lol. So true. If I could go anywhere right now I’d be beach bound. A tropical location sounds like heaven. Dreams! Until we can travel again a card will have to do.

This card features the Timeless Tropical stamp set and a few snips of various Designer Series papers.

HI friends! It’s a COLOR challenge this week: Pretty Peacock, Soft Seafoam and Blushing Bride. I messed up and used Petal Pink on my card instead of Blushing Bride but it’s close enough. HAHA. TGIF Challenges: TGIFC264 Watercolor - Comfort and Hope

Hello friends. TGIF Challenges is playing around with watercolor this week. Watercoloring is a go to technique for me. I love a simple watercolor wash background and I really love to stamp on wet watercolor paper. It’s such a great effect.
