Climbing Roses Valentine card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Are you guys ready to meet a bunch of amazing stampers? The Monday Montage crew is a talented bunch. I’ve met these ladies through my Artisan opportunity, various Stampin’ Up! gatherings and of course, social media. The Monday Montage gals host a blog hop every other Monday showing you fun and exciting Stampin’ Up! products. No theme, or challenge, just an awesome and inspiring show and tell. Are you ready to see what I’ve come up with for the 132nd edition of Monday Montage? Here goes …

The card I created for today features this pretty stamp set called Climbing Roses. The set also has coordinating framelits. With Valentine’s day right around the corner I decided to create a sophisticated Valentine, something I might send my mom or mother in law. I’ve been making cards for the kids and this approach was a nice break. A full list of supplies can be found at the end of this post.

Ready for more Stampin’ Up! inspiration? If you are traveling this hop in order you have just arrived from Cathy. Next up is Cheryl. Be sure to loop through the entire hop and see all of the amazing artwork created just to inspire!

Honey Bear Card using A Little Wild stamp set - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Hello again. Welcome to the A Little Wild edition of Stamp Review Crew. Remember this cute stamp set? It’s a darling stamp set great for making spinner cards, gift tags and treats. The set has images for the front and back sides of each animal. I chose to focus on the the cute front side of the bear.

For this hop I decided to create a bright card that would work for any general occasion. I’ve pulled many stamps together to create a little picnic scene. I’ve used Stampin’ Blends to bring these little stamped images to life.

This bear is also darling stamped for a party favor. I used it last year to make some darling baby bear party favors for a cousins baby shower.

Next up on this hop is Lou. She is always inspiring and I cannot wait to see her take on this set. Thanks in advance for taking the time to comment. I love to hear from you!

What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators created projects for a blog hop on the first and third Monday of each month. For each hop we chose a single stamp set to feature. There is a blog with all of the previous hops archived. It’s a great reference if you are looking for ideas using a certain stamp set. Click here to see all of the hops!

Hey You! One more Valentine ...

February 2, 2019

While there is still two weeks until V-Day I’m close to wrapping up my Valentine crafting. I need to pop some cards in the mail and help Nic finish up his Valentine’s for school.

I’m playing along with the Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge. The Hey You stamp set is perfect for coloring, so I stamped a few images and set to coloring and playing around with Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the critters and created a quick card. #thedailymarker30day DAY 2

Meant to Be - TGIF Challenges Color Challenge - TGIFC197

February 1, 2019
TGIFC197.jpg

I’m all about the heart stamps lately. It’s so fun to repeat them and create your own color background patterns. The striped heart image used on this card comes from the Meant to Be stamp set. I’ve inked it up using this fantastic color combo from this weeks TGIF challenge. #tgifc197 . You could create a similar background using ANY heart image. I whipped up something similar on this card I posted yesterday.

Because of the time of year I opted to create a Valentine card. This card is nice because it could work as a Valentine card or just a great card for that special friend. The hearts are perfectly aligned using the Stamparatus. The trick here is to clean your stamp well between each inking so your inks don’t get muddy.

I haven’t had much opportunity to play around with the InColor emboss powders. Embossing on dark cardstock is a great way to use these powders and get strong vibrant colors.

See more inspiration for this color challenge in the TGIF challenges blog and play along with us! Thanks for visiting.
