Birthday Backgrounds - TGIFC165 Inspiration Challenge

June 22, 2018

Hi guys! Welcome back. Today we are sharing projects inspired from this cool lemonade stand for TGIF Challenges (#tgifc165). I rarely combine multiple stamp sets for a card but I just had to for this cute card. My card features Birthday Backgrounds, Coffee Cafe, and the Lemon Zest stamp sets.

I love a nice cold class of lemonade, especially pink lemonade. Lemonade reminds me of summer, a bright and cheery summer. The colors from this inspiration photo are also bright and cheery. Stampin' Up!'s new yellow, Pineapple Punch, was the perfect choice for this bright card. Pineapple Punch makes these other SU colors (Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo) appear neon!

Don't you just love this bright burst pattern in the background? It looks like exploding drips of lemonade. This image is from the Birthday Background stamp set. The cup, straw and ice cubes are from the Coffee Cafe set and the lemons and greetings are from the Lemon Zest stamp set. Yum, yum.

Are you ready for more inspiration? Check out the TGIF Challenge blog and play along with us.

Abstract Impressions, GDP143 - Charlet Mallett - Stampin' Up!

Abstract Impressions - Live it, Love it, Share It - Global Design Project

June 18, 2018

Live it, Love it, Share it is this week's theme for the Global Design Project. What better way to live, love and share then sending a handmade card? I love to get them and send them. It's the best! Today I'm sharing a little handmade kindness in the form of a pretty floral card.

I'm finding Abstract Impressions such a versatile stamp set. I feel I've created a completely different look with this card than the projects I shared earlier in the week with the Artisan Design team blog hop. I'm loving this yellow bouquet of flowers layered on the basket weave background. Feels like a summer picnic. The sentiment is so true, I really believe kindness goes a long way toward happiness.

The various shades of Crushed Curry flowers are created by stamping off ink while. Email me with questions if you'd like to recreate this look.

A full list of supplies can be found below. Be sure to check out the Global Design Project blog and share with us how you Live it, Love it, and Share it! Thank for visiting - Charlet #gdp143

Animal Outing Thank You Card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin' Up!

Animal Outing - Stamp Review Crew

June 17, 2018

Hello and welcome to the Animal Outing edition of Stamp Review Crew. Have you seen this darling animal stamp set yet? It's super cute stamp set with a tall giraffe, pudgy rhino and a momma kangaroo warming a baby koala. The sentiments are also darling and great for just about any occasion.

My card also features a texture background from the new Gallery Grunge stamp set. I like how the circle images in this set work well as giraffe spots.

What is this hop all about? The Stamp Review Crew is a group of International Stampin' Up! demonstrators who want to show you how much you can do with ONE stamp set. Each edition the SR Crew will showcase a new featured stamp set. Each stop along the hop will show you a different idea, or ideas using that set! Next up is Yalpha Mason. Thanks for visiting.

Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop - June

June 17, 2018

Hello again! Welcome back to another Scrapbook Sunday blog hop. This event features a team of Stampin' Up! scrapbookers that blog hop the 3rd Sunday of every month and share exclusively scrapbooking ideas using Stampin' Up! products.

This month was is a sketch challenge ... we were challenged to create a page using the sketch to the left.

I'm continuing to create and add pages to the book I'm making for my Grandma. This page is 6x8 and features the Under the Sea Designer Series papers and the Share What You Love Embellishment kit.

I love the look of the Tranquil Textures papers on this page. They add so much visual dimension to an otherwise flat page.

Ok, ready to see all the pretty scrapbook inspiration based from this sketch? Let's go! Full link up can be found below. Click on the link after my name. Thanks so much for visiting. Charlet
