Mother's Day Card Making Challenge with Paper Garden

You all know I love a great challenge. I'm participating the Mother's Day Card Making Challenge with Paper Garden. This challenge is all about cards fro mom and is unique as there are prizes for the winning card. 

My card features handmade 3D flowers in shades of purples. I used a scallop circle punch to created these flowers. The greeting is hand stamped using the Make A Difference alphabet stamp set from Stampin' Up! (available in a bundle now!).

Global Design Project Color Challenge - #GDP137

Hello friends and welcome to another Global Design Project challenge. This week's color challenge features three of my favorite colors! I adore Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party. I'm thrilled these colors will remain in Stampin' Up!'s color line up next year. 

My card today is delicate and graphic. I used the beautiful intricate laser cut designs from the new Delightfully Detailed Designer Series Papers (available June 1) and a myriad of circle punches.  These papers are fantastic and have so many uses. I can't wait until these get into many hands so we can all be inspired. The greeting on this card is also from a new stamp set, Rooted in Nature.

Oh So Eclectic - TGIFC158 Color Challenge

Nothing like sneaking a sample into this week's TGIF Color Challenge. I've been so focused on new catalog products that trusty stamp sets are being neglected. You all know how excited I was to be selected to be a part of the 2018 design team. In case you missed my excitement you can read about it here. I've pretty much talked about it non-stop since. It's been an amazing and rewarding experience (in so many ways) and the year isn't even half over!  

MY PSA TO YOU - If you've ever considered applying to be a part of this team NOW IS THE TIME to apply.  Read more about the team and experience here. The Stampin' Up! home office is reviewing sample portfolios now.  There are a few requirements, primarily to be an active SU demonstrator and to maintain and online blog.  Is really easy to apply and you never know how it might shake out.
