Beautiful Bouquet - Just for Fun

Sometimes I'm in the mood to craft for no other reason than to make something cute. These cards serve that purpose and help me channel Spring. It's so gray around here (looks like brown death) and a little color is needed. Just a pop will do.

How could I have waited so LONG to play with this amazing stamp set?!!! It's called Floral Statements and it's seriously gorgeous. I love it and and so pleased with the card I created from the set. It's a new favorite. What do you think?

A little about my card ... The set I choose to feature today is called Amazing You. After playing with most of the SALE-A-BRATION products I've found this stamp set to be my most favorite. I stamped the flowers in Versamark ink on watercolor paper and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Next I waterecolored the flowers using shades of Melon Mambo Classic ink and an aqua painter. I'm so into white embossing powder at the moment. I love the look of white on white. The 'celebrate' sentiment was super easy to stamp and align in a vertical row using the Stamparatus (Stampin' Up!'s new stamp alignment tool available in July). Stampin' Creative Blog Hop - From the Garden - Beautiful Bouquet

Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop. I'm Charlet. I am so excited to be a guest designer. This hop inspires me every month I am just giddy to be included for this round. You've just arrived from the fabulous Eimear at Stampin' Colour.

The theme for this hop is From the Garden. Do you garden? I keep a vegetable garden and I have a couple of flower beds that I tend to. I am beyond ready for Spring to arrive so I can start my early plantings. It's so grey and blah here in Massachusetts right now, hurry up Spring! Until then I'll have to garden with my stamp sets.

My project today features the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and coordinating dies. There are so many fun floral and leaf images it was hard to choose what to stamp with. I decided to create a Congratulations card featuring a fresh bouquet of flowers.

To create this freshly picked bouquet I stamped the stem image and the tiny posy flowers in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I added color using Classic ink and sponge daubers to blend. A full list of supplies can be found below.

A sweet card for a sweet friend! We are CASING the amazing @tinkermom85 this week @global_design_project - I love how Wendy stamped on patterned paper to add a quick pop of color. I took a similar approach and stamped the berries from the 'Filled with Sweetness' stamp set onto red patterned paper. The green stems were stamped directly onto Garden Green cardstock and then cut out and layered onto the red berries. Water & ink. I used water and classic ink to create this soft pastel card. Paper: watercolor paper. I used a variety of flower punches from my collection to create the multi-layered flowers. This card has so much dimension and is meant for hand delivery! 🤣 Use your stash! #stampinup #useyourstash #cardmaker #cardmakingreel

When I think of pastel I think watercolor. For this month our 'Use Your Stash' theme is PRETTY PASTEL. I pulled out the 'Good Greetings' stamp set and heat set the large greeting with white emboss powder. This greeting is so pretty. Then, I water painted a peachy color over the top for a soft & airy look. For the flowers I painted a few pink and peach multi-color washes and then punch out using various flower punches. The flower centers are irridescent rhinestones. Stampin' Up! products you can still purchase: Basic White cardstock, Fluid 100 watercolor Ink colors: Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink and Cloud Cover I can't wait to see what my friends pulled out from their stashes for this challenge. Cute little chicks lined up in a row … I was eyeballing it to try my hand at stamp alignment with this new Stampin’ Positioner tool.
