Painted Harvest - What Will You Stamp

November 13, 2017

Hi guys! Traveling back to Boston from Salt Lake City today but wanted to sneak in this cute card made with the Painted Harvest stamp set for this week's What Will You Stamp challenge.

This card is super close to a one layer card. I stamped the flower image in Fresh Fig directly on the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. Then I stamped the verse in Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I scattered a few little specks of white embossing powder for a speckled look. I am really liking the look of the images stamped directly on the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. Additional card supplies are listed below.

Painted Harvest is such a popular stamp set. If you have this beauty, play along with us over at the WWYS blog. We'd love to see what you make. Happy stamping!

Are you Interested in purchasing Stampin' Up! products? I would LOVE to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. If you live in the United States you can order your paper crafting supplies from my online store. So easy. THANK YOU!

November 10, 2017

Yippee! It's Friday and that means it time for another TGIF Challenge. This week is challenge based from the sketch below. My card ended up altered a bit from the original sketch (it's more symmetrical) but the general feel of the sketch is still apparent.

This card was created using the Snowflake Sentiments bundle of products. Supplies are listed below.

Below is an altered card based on the design above. This is one of the three cards we made at Card Club (in Ogden) last night! Thanks for coming everyone - it was so much fun.

Card club and On Stage in on day? Yep, I'm just that crazy but I need to fit in all the Utah activities I can before I leave! If you happen to be at the Stampin' Up! On Stage in SLC I'd love to meet up and say hello.

In the City - Case the Designer #GDP112

November 6, 2017

Boy, do I have exciting news. I've been asked to become a design team member with the Global Design Project! You guys, this is awesome! I've been a long time fan and player of the GDP weekly challenges. The designers on the GDP team are active Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, super duper talented, and are from all around the globe!

The Global Design Project has a new challenge every week that you can play along with. Every week is a different type of challenge; It could be Colour, Theme, CASE or Sketch inspiration.

This weeks challenge is to CASE the beautiful card that Connie Collins created. There are so many fun ways to interpret Connie's card.

I ended up making two cards for my first post with the GDP team. My first card ended up looking so much like Allison's card that I scrapped it and started over. HA - that's what can happen when you CASE! That card, using Christmas Sweaters, at the end of this post.

For the card I did end up submitting I decided to use the IN THE CITY host set. We have a lot of new neighbors moving into our area and this is perfect card to have on hand. The supply list of products are listed below.

Check out the Global Design Project blog to see all the various projects the designers have created and PLAY along with us! I can't wait to see what you create. Happy Stamping!

Labels to Love - What Will You Stamp

November 6, 2017

Labels to Love is the What Will You Stamp challenge set for this week. Do you have it? If so, show us what you've got. We'd love to see your projects. Check out the WWYS blog to see what the team created.

I made a few projects using this set and the Give Thanks image; a Thanks card, a 3x3 card, a treat box. Supplies for the THANKS card are listed below. I also have a bonus LOVE card to share at the end of this post.

The 'THANKS' card also includes an attempt at a video (Thanks for the encouragement Jenny). I say attempt because I'm not sure what I am doing. I'm still trying to figure everything out. I didn't record any sound when I made the video, thinking I would do a voice over. Well ... I don't really know how to do a voice over yet, LOL. So I sped the video up and added a song. It's a pretty quick watch (2 min) and shows you a couple tips on using the Everyday Label punch that coordinates with this stamp set. Let me know what you think and if I should try again. Oh, and a huge virtual hug to all of you >>> Subscribe!
