At Home With You - What Will You Stamp

At Home with You is the featured set for with weeks What Will you Stamp challenge. The team has created some great projects to help show you how you might use this set. The set has so many versatile verses images to help you create a darling little front porch scene. I like all the small ancelary images in the set and chose to make two fall and a Christmas themed card. This stamp set also has coordinating dies. Fun stuff! Check out what the team created over on the WWYS blog.

At Home With You - Grateful pumpkin card, Charlet Mallett

My two fall cards use the exact same stamped and colored image.  Mix up the card colors and lay out and you get two very different looking cards.

I miss textured card stock .... Sorry this card uses some old paper that is no longer available. Oops! Sometimes I pull something out of my scraps and don;t realize until later that it's no longer around.

Merry Cafe - Stamp Review Crew

How about a cup of CHEER?! Merry Café if the featured set this week for the Stamp Review Crew.  This cheerful set is packed full of fun images for all sorts of occasions. I chose to combine a few of the images together to create my own sentiment for a fall themed card about apple cider.  It is apple picking time in my neck of the woods. That means pie, cider and other apple yumminess.  This card will come in handy this season.

This card also features the Burlap background stamp.

The Stamp Review Crew is a group of International Stampin' Up! demonstrators who want to show you how much you can do with one stamp set. Fun idea, heh? Each unique blog hop will feature one stamp set. Each stop along the hop will show you a different idea, or ideas using that set! Looks like I am the lucky one who starts this hop off. Next up on the Merry Café stamp review is the talented Karen Gooch, thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!

TGIF Challenge - Transportation theme

Hey guys! It's a theme week over at TGIF challenges. The theme this round is TRANSPORTATION!

Maybe it's by land, maybe it's by sea, maybe it's by air - let some form of transportation be your inspiration (bike, balloon, wagon, car, plane, horse.... you get the idea, right?)!!!

I made two projects this week. a card and simple tag. I really wanted to use a few new products from the Holiday catalog on my transpiration theme card. As I looked through the catalog i had quite a few choices ...  I ultimately used these cute Christmas cars from the Christmas Around the World designer series paper.  I started with the hand cutting out the car and then decided to create a little wonderland scene using the Hometown Greetings framelits.  I needed a way to contain all of these fun images so I winged it and created a snow globe using a circle die and a little piece of the Wood Textures designer series paper. Hopefully it looks like a little snow globe on the center of my card?! If not, it's just a scene contained in a circle. LOL.

Check out what the talented team created using this theme on the TGIF Challenges blog and play along this week. Happy stamping.

Supplies for both projects are listed out below.

Magical Mermaid - What Will You Stamp

Check out what I stamped with Magical Mermaid! This set is not my typical style but I loved how these cards turned out.  This first card was made for my Mom. She came out to visit for the weekend. It was her birthday yesterday and this card matched our magical weekend!

I'm sharing three cards today. These three cards feature a little bit of shimmer, sparkle & shine, and bubbling fizz.

Magical Mermaid Card - Charlet Mallett - Stampin' Up!

SHIMMER: This Powder Pink Magical Mermaid Birthday card uses Wink of Stella pretty liberally on the mermaid tail. It really adds a nice effect.

Magical Mermaid Card - Charlet Mallett - Stampin' Up!

SPARKLE & SHINE: My second card showcases these fabulous foil snowflakes! These are super versatile and not just for winter and holiday cards ... The snowflakes are silver on one side and gold on the other. I've used the silver side and like how it pairs with the faceted gems and sparkly glimmer paper.

BUBBLING FIZZ: The design on the Softly Falling embossing folder looks just like bubblea floating up from the bottom of the sea. The sea on this card is PINK and popping!
