Tabs for Everything - Girl You're Fabulous - TGIF Challenges, Stampin' Up! Charlet Mallett

Girl, you are FABULOUS! - TGIF Challenge 121

August 18, 2017

Girl, You Are FABULOUS! It's true. It also happens to be the theme challenge for this week over at TGIF Challenges. Now, I'm not gonna lie, all of my cards are a little bit girly. It seems I don't create many masculine cards. Really, any card I've created over the last few months would have worked for this challenge. I decided to use a stamp set that I have not yet featured, Tabs for Everything, to create this card. It has the sentiment FABULOUS, which is perfect for this challenge. I used pink and gold as my color scheme and went to town. Diamonds, Gold, Crowns, Doilies, Faceted Gems, Pink ... what more could a girly girl ask for?

Check out what the team created over at the TGIF Challenges blog and show us your girly girl projects. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stamping!

The Tabs for Everything stamp set includes all sorts of fun icons for you daily planner, journaling, and for creating small embellishments. I created this crown tab using 3 stamps from the set. The tab punch frames these icons perfectly.

Gold bling and more ... See that little sneak of gold 1/8' washi tape between the 'you're' and 'fabulous' sentiments? That taoe is from a new metallic Washi tape assortment coming soon in the holiday catalog. A MUST HAVE. Stay tuned for more product sneaks, coming soon!

Bike Ride Thinking of You card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin' Up!

Bike Ride - What Will You Stamp

August 14, 2017

Welcome to another What Will You Stamp Challenge. This week we are sharing samples created using the Bike Ride Stamp set. This stamp set is a builder set, meaning you need to combine pieces to create an overall image. This set is also a 2-step stamp set, allowing you to create multi-colored images by stamping and layering on top of each other. The stamp set has so many accent images, providing tons of options to customize and build a scene.

I'm sharing a few cards this week. Two cards featuring builder bikes, and two cards showcasing how the smaller 2-step images.

My first sample was totally inspired by this lovely Instagram photo from HELLOMISSMAY. You can easily see how I interpreted the colors and the scene onto this Thinking of You card. The brick background was created using the brick stencil and embossing paste. In hindsight, I should of added a little touch of pink.

Inspiration is everywhere! Be sure to check out the WWYS Blog for more inspiration using Bike Ride.

High Tide Lighthouse Card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin' Up!

High Tide - What Will You Stamp

August 7, 2017

I LOVE Lighthouses! Since moving to the East coast it has been a mission of ours to check off lighthouses and grab photo souvenirs. There are so many, one in every town ... Scroll to the end of this blog post to see a few recent captures.

Now onto card making ... The challenge stamp set this week for the What Will You Stamp team is High Tide. This is the perfect time of year to feature this set. You can get so many different looks from just one stamp set. I have 3 very different lighthouse cards and one alternate card to share. Looks like I went a little overboard (lol) with samples this week. Ah well. Thanks Jenny. :)

Check out the WWYS blog for even more inspiration using High Tide. Happy Stamping!
