Merry Cafe Hello Fall Card - TGIFC123

Hello FALL and Hello September!!! Can you believe August is over? I'm in denial a tiny bit. Our weather took the hint and has immediately cooled off. It is starting to feel like fall around here.

Perfect timing for a project made with fall colors. It's a COLOR COMBO week over at TGIF Challenges. These three colors (Early Espresso, Peekaboo Peach, Soft Sky) immediately screamed fall to me. I used the 2-step leaves and Hello Fall sentiment from a new stamp set called Merry Cafe to create this Hello Fall card.  Merry Cafe is available for purchase today! Yippee.

I also created a 3x3 love note using the same set. I love how the little accent piece fits perfectly into the sides of the label punch. It's Stamp Review time! This edition we are reviewing the stamp set Window Shopping.  I struggled at first to come up with a project and then the flood gates opened. Does that ever happen to you? I just sat a stared at the stamp set, and stared, walked away and then came back and stamped something else. LOL. Anyway, projects came together somehow.

I'm sneaking a challenge card in under the wire for this week's Global Design Project! The GDP has been around for 100 weeks ... and happens to be one of my most favorite challenges to participate in.  Happy 100 GDP and thanks for all of the inspiration!

This week's challenge is a CASE the Designer challenge. It was a tough pick, there are so many awesome projects to choose from. I chose to case a gorgeous card from Krista Frattin from Stampin' Dolce, who cased her card from the super talented Steffi Helmschrott from  Stampelwiese (what a cycle!).

I took elements from the basic layout, watercolor background and the color Flirty Flamingo to play from. It's always fun to sneak new products ... so I featured a new stamp set that will be released soon (Sept 1) from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday catalog.
