We have a color challenge this week. Check out these three new InColors: Just Jade, BumbleBee and Magenta Madness. These three colors are a fun and bright together. I struggled to put them together but like how this card turned out. Stamp set is called Loyal Leaves.

TGIF Challenges: TGIFC267 Color Challenge

Hello friends. TGIF Challenges is playing with color this week. Check out this new yellow InColor called Bumblebee. I love a good yellow!

The team is pairing this yellow with Night of Navy and Crumb Cake. I thought these three colors would make great Father’s Day card. I pulled in products from the Good Taste suite to create this card. The stamp set is called Tasteful Touches and the Designer Series Papers ‘In Good Taste’ to finish off the look.

Creating Kindness Blog Hop - Texture

Hello! Welcome to this months edition of the Creating Kindness Blog hop. This month we are all exploring texture. There are so many ways you can add texture OR the look of texture to your projects. I’m sure my CK friends have fantastic projects to share.

To add the look of texture to my project I embossed a sheet of Whisper White cardstock using the Subtle texture embossing folder. Then I stamped the large flower image from the Blossom of Blooms stamp set onto the textured cardstock in Coastal Cabana. The ink transfers to the raised areas on the textured cardstock but is omitted in the recessed areas. This is a simple technique that has a beautiful effect.
