Global Design Project - CASE Challenge - GDP212 - Merry Moose

Finally got a chance to break out and play with the Merry Moose bundle. Hooray for a moose stamp set and coordinating punch. This bundle is a must have if you live in New England. Moose imagery is everywhere!

This card was created for Global Design Project case the designer challenge 212. #gdp212 We are CASE the talented current Stampin’ Up! Artisan member Manuela. She is amazingly talented and oh so inspiring.

I loved the classic and clean layout of her challenge card along with the asymmetrical design. I used those two elements as my jumping off point. I must say I love how the white trees and snow look stamped on the Crumb Cake cardstock. It’s fantastic and it made me realize I need to do this more.

TGIF Challenges: TGIFC234 - Theme - Halloween - Spooktacular Bash

I’m a tiny bit late to this weeks TGIF Challenge but I had to jump in … one word, HALLoWEEN! Ha, if you know me well you know I love all things Halloween. Decorating, the costumes, the crafting and the treats.

This card pulls in a few experiments and TRICKS. I’ve been playing around a bit with Alcohol inks lately. The Purple background was an experiment using a current and purple alcohol ink on Yupo paper. It instantly reminded me of a spooky potion so I knew I needed to turn it into a card. The black background features Black Glitter embossing powder. I used a new stencil mask with versa mark to create the pattern. It adds a nice bit of texture and sparkle to an otherwise black sheet of cardstock. The experiments in the tiny jars have been colored using Stampin’ Blends.

Global Design Project - Sketch Challenge - GDP211 - Sip Sip Hooray

Here’s a fun and unique wedding card to celebrate a happy couple. This card was created for Global Design Project sketch challenge 211. #gdp211

Have you ever made your own custom color of embossing paste? This was my first attempt and it was super easy to do. All it takes is adding a little drop of ink refill to Shimmery Embossing paste and mixing with a palette knife. I used Petal Pink. I like how the Polka Dots mimic the champagne bubbles. The stamp set is called Sip Sip Hooray!
