DISNEY! What to you think of when you think of Disney? My first thought was Princess (there are so many great Disney Princesses!). Our TGIF Challenge this week is the theme All About Disney so I decided to create my version of a princess card.
I found the frog & crown images from the ‘So Happy for You’ stamp set are ideal for creating this little Happy Birthday princess scene.

A couple of fun details about this card you may have missed …
1. Drop shadow. The little prince frog has a tiny gray shadow under him. This is easy to create using a Stampin’ Blend. Hand draw the shape to match the shape of the frog, making the shadow darker the closer it gets to the frog.
The frog is also colored and shaded using Stampin’ Blends.
See that cute little fly? The fly has been stamped but the little dotted line has been hand drawn using a black Stampin’ Write marker. Adding little details like these can make your card truly unique.
The background on this card was created using the brick stencil and glitter embossing paste. A little goes a long way and adds some extra texture to this card.
Die cut flowers have also been added to the vines to add even more 3D elements.

Beauty Abounds Thanks Card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin' Up!
Hello friends! Ready for this weeks Global Design Project challenge? This week we are CASING from this card of Shawn’s. I was instantly drawn to the color combo and the layout and built my card from there. You can see more of Shawn’s work on his blog at Shawn Stamps.

There are so many fantastic stamp and craft companies in the market nowadays. I can’t resist a good stamp set! Particularly a great verse. ‘You rock at being a girl’ is a MUST own stamp verse.
In December I treated myself to a few little gifts and purchased some stamp sets from THE STAMP MARKET and Picket Fence Studios. I also added some yellows and greens to my Copic marker collection. YAY! So today I’m taking a swing combining these new products for a vibrant and happy card.
The sentiment is from the #girlboss louise (Picket Fence Studios) stamp set. The large flower is from Floral Bouquet (the stamp market). The most affordable place (I’ve found) to purchase Copic markers is Blick Art Supplies.
