Party Wishes - Happy Birthday Ky!

I want to wish a huge Happy Birthday to my sister-in-law Ky! TODAY is the day and she is amazing. I know this isn't the card I sent you but sometimes I forget to snap pictures. OOPS.

You may wonder where this polka-dot paper comes from? It is originally a B&W pattern in the It's My Party paper stack. I added subtle color to the dots using an aqua painter and various classic ink to match the color combo of my card. Supplies below.

Going Global - Color Challenge #GDP021

I am so inspired by the weekly projects that are created over at the Global Design Project. Amazing talent is showcased on their site from crafters around the world. The team there host a creative weekly challenge and this week's challenge is to make a project with the color scheme below.

Never needing much of a reason to make something ...  I sat down and created this World's Best Mother card. I don't know about you but I really like to create late at night, I do my best work then. While I use Bermuda and Mambo practically ALL the TIME, I rarely use Wisteria Wonder. I tried to make purple my dominant color with pops of Bermuda and Mambo. I paired the Going Global and A Nice Cuppa set together from the 2016 Occasions mini. I think I'll send this card to my mom this morning! Thanks for reading.

Groovy Love - WWYS #49

It's February 1st and time to highlight a few handmade Valentine cards. Groovy Love is this week's What Will You Stamp challenge set. This set coordinates with the large Sweetheart punch and is a fun and graphic choice for Valentine & Love projects. You can find this set in the annual SU catalog. I decided to freshen up this stamp set by pairing with cool new papers and accessories from the Occasions catalog.
