Another project from the October card club... I created a similar full-sized card a few weeks ago. This version is much smaller and uses a more traditional color scheme. Supplies below.

Merry Everything Star card
This Merry Everything Star card was created as a last minute swap for Jill Olsen's St. George event. The name is appropriate because it uses just about everything from the holiday mini. Well... not really everything but I did use a bunch of products from the holiday catalog—lots of punches, embossing and die cuts. This card was a prize winner?! Woohoo.
This card is nice and neutral with pops of traditional red and green. Things to note: I cut off the top of the Note Tag punch to create the rounded rectangle shape that houses the Merry Christmas phrase. The 25 star comes from the 25 days advent calendar set.

Festival of Trees Card
Here is another swap I created for the upcoming Fall Stampin' Event in St. George. This card features the Festival of Trees stamp set and coordinating punch.
A couple of fun things to note:
1. The tiny snowflakes from the Frosted Sequins embellishments are tied onto each end of the white bakers twine. I like to add fun little details to my cards.
2. I used the new embossing folder from the Fun Frames pack to frame the tree. It's the perfect size for the tree.
3. The gray ornaments have been embossed with the Smoky Slate embossing powder.

Fall Fest, Seasonally Scattered, For all Things stamp sets. Stampin' Up!
I had a few pumpkins leftover from the Fall Fest - Grateful for You swaps that I made and posted about the other day. I created another card featuring this emboss & color technique for my card a week challenge with Paula. I am about 2 weeks behind on this challenge but am catching up.
I really like the way this card turn out. It's clean and simple, just my style. We may even make this card at my next card club.
A few fun things to note...
1. I stamped the THANKS image from Seasonally Scattered as the background image for this card. I stamped the image in Mossy Meadow.
2. I stamped the hardwood in crumb cake on crumb cake card stock and then cut one plank to create the wood banner that covers up the THANKS phrase in the Seasonally Scattered image. I love how covering up the phrase gives this stamp set so many more uses.
3. I stamped the 'Hello Fall' in vellum and then overlaid the phrase onto the pumpkin and the plank banner.
