Tag It

The next set I created convention samples for is called "Tag It". I'll admit, this is not my favorite stamp set and I found it kind of hard to use. Too many stand alone images that don't work well with each other.  That said, I think the projects turned out pretty cute and I may use them in upcoming clubs.  The images are quite versatile and would be create for stampers who need basic images for most occasions. Another bonus is that some proceeds from this set go toward the Ronald McDonald House foundation.  That alone makes this set a good investment.

Here are my projects.

I heart projects

I really should have posted this back in February when I made this but better late than never.

Again, inspired by a Paula project (which she kind of cased from the SU catalog) I set to work to copy and made this heart.
1. I gathered up all things pink and red in my craft room.
2. Started to make all sorts of little embellishments.
3. I cut out a piece of chipboard in the heart shape I wanted.
4. Set to work arranging...   After I was pleased with the arrangement I hot glued down to to the chipboard heart.
5. pinned to cork board frame.

I took this project to my February card club because I found it showcased paper and embellishments in a different way.  Fun stuff.

Faux chalkboard effect using Oh, Hello stamp set and whisper white craft ink. Just stamp the craft ink directly onto the black card stock, then with a sponge lightly buff and smear to get the chalky effect. Easy.

Sweet and simple doily card using Oh, Hello stamp set, paper doilies and whisper white craft ink.

And lastly, here is a shot of the sweet Valentines I made for the card club girls. Looks like candy. Craft candy.
