Monday Montage 261

May 20, 2024

It's Monday Montage Hop time! It's been more than a month since I've been able to play along with these talented crafters and I've missed them. Today I am sharing a card that uses my favorite new Stampin' UP! 2024-26 InColor: Summer Splash. This color is similar to Coastal Cabana but a little darker and a hint more green. I love it! This card also features an amazing new die from the 'Friends for Life' stamp and die bundle.

Want some more inspiration? My Monday Montage "friends for life" are all sharing fabulous creations using Stampin' Up! products. Check it out... next up in today's insta hop is my cute friend Cheryl @nukumach1

Pillow Gifts for Monday Montage 258

April 7, 2024

Aren't pillow gifts the best? A couple of weeks ago I attended Stampin' Up!'s OnStage event in Houston. I roomed with the best people (some of the Monday Montage crew) and we all exchanged fun little pillow gifts with each other. I'm finally sharing the packaging for my gift using the Sweet Thoughts notecards and the Paper Florist dies. I turned the cards into little boxes that contained sweet chocolate and candies from Maine. I created a little 1" button to help dress up the box and be used to decorate our lanyards. Pretty Things. Check out my Instagram REELS to see the gifts I received in exchange.

Want some more inspiration? Now it's time for a little Monday Montage Insta & blog Hop? My friends are all sharing fabulous creations using Stampin' Up! products. Check it out... next up in today's insta hop is my friend Cheryl @nukumach1

Water & ink. I used water and classic ink to create this soft pastel card. Paper: watercolor paper. I used a variety of flower punches from my collection to create the multi-layered flowers. This card has so much dimension and is meant for hand delivery! 🤣 Use your stash! #stampinup #useyourstash #cardmaker #cardmakingreel

When I think of pastel I think watercolor. For this month our 'Use Your Stash' theme is PRETTY PASTEL. I pulled out the 'Good Greetings' stamp set and heat set the large greeting with white emboss powder. This greeting is so pretty. Then, I water painted a peachy color over the top for a soft & airy look. For the flowers I painted a few pink and peach multi-color washes and then punch out using various flower punches. The flower centers are irridescent rhinestones. Stampin' Up! products you can still purchase: Basic White cardstock, Fluid 100 watercolor Ink colors: Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink and Cloud Cover I can't wait to see what my friends pulled out from their stashes for this challenge. UYS is a monthly instagram hop where my friends and I get crafty and use what we have on hand to create a project around a certain theme. Use those supplies! Cute little chicks lined up in a row … I was eyeballing it to try my hand at stamp alignment with this new Stampin’ Positioner tool. My free form is not perfect, but it doesn’t matter in the end when you mount your card crooked. 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥 🤣 Stamp set is called Easter Basket and it’s on the last chance list.
