Artisan Design Team - June 2022 - Best Butterfly

Hello friends! June’s Artisan assignment was to create project using the Best Butterflies bundle.. I decided to pull in a little watercolor in fun colors to compliment these whimsical butterflies.

I created watercolor background for this card using Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Sweet Sorbet. The circles have been stamped onto this background using coordinating colors.

These butterflies look so cute cut from white cardstock. I’ve layered vellum under the pattern wings. The butterfly bodies are cut from Silver foil cardstock. The sentiment had been heat embossed using silver emboss powder. I’ve added a few silver rhinestones to top things off.

For this slimline card I painted simples stripes of color for the background. Once dry I stamped the sentiment in coordinating colors onto each stripe. I had to do a little masking to get the sentiments to appear as single words. The entire background is mounted onto Blushing Bride cardstock.

Stamping Society - InColor - Good Feelings

Hello, hello! Welcome to 2022 edition of the Stamping Society Monthy tutorial.

What is Stamping Society? We are group of international stampers who showcase an idea monthly through a blog hop and then offer the exclusive written instructions for that idea through an easy to navigate tutorial. The tutorial showcases all 6 ideas along with measurements, photos and a video. Details on how to get the written tutorial at the end of this post.

This month we are sharing ideas featuring the 2022-2024 InColors from Stampin’ Up!

I’ve used the three of the new InColors: Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party, and Sweet Sorbort with the Good Feelings stamp set. A full list of supplies can be found below. This card also uses the Stamparatus hinge step technique.

Global Design Project - GDP345 - Color Challenge using Good Feelings

Two for the price of one. I started playing with these colors and ended up with two projects. Card feature the Good Feelings stamp set, challenge colors, and the InColor 6x6 Designer Series Papers. See full supply list below.
