Sweet Conversations - Stamp Review Crew

Hello friends! Welcome to the Sweet Conversations Edition of Stamp Review Crew. This bundle is amazing and so easy to use. If you need to create Valentine card this might be just the ticket.

My project today uses the little conversation gift box. I create a bunch of mini note cards to slip inside the box. The entire box & card will be gifted.

Tutorial Medley - Awesome Otters

You are Otterly Awesome! Instructions on how to recreate this card are below.

Measurements: 

·      Card Base: Petal Pink 4.25 x 11” folded to 4.25” x 5.5” 

·      Cardstock #2: Petal Pink 4” x 5.25” 

·      Cardstock #3: Fluid 100 WC Paper 3” x 4” 

Instructions:

·      Cut and score Petal Pink card base. Fold in half.

·      Cut Petal Pink Cardstock to 4” x 5.25”

·      Dry emboss Petal Pink cardstock using Bark 3D embossing folder. 

·      Center and mount Petal Pink cardstock to Petal Pink card base.

·      Cut Fluid 100 Watercolor paper to 3” x 4”.

·      Paint a large heart using Pool Party ink and a Water Painter brush onto the center of the Fluid 100 watercolor paper. Set aside to dry. 

·      Stamp Otter image in center of painted heart using Pool Party ink. 

·      Distress perimeter edges of Fluid 100 piece. Dog ear and fold corners.

·      Center and adhere Fluid 100 piece to card front.

·      Stamp Otter image in Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White cardstock. 

·      Color Otter using Stampin’ Blends.

·      Cut out Otter, align and adhere on top of painted heart using Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

·      Stamp greeting in Versamark ink onto Misty Moonlight cardstock. Heat set with White Emboss Powder. Cut words apart. Mount each word to card front using Stampin’ Dimensional. See card for suggested placement.

·      Adhere 4 Iridescent Rhinestones around Otter image.

TGIF Challenges 351 - Sketch Challenge - For the Record

It’s Friday and that means it is time for a sketch challenge. Who’s up for a fun color challenge. I used this sketch to create this card. The stamp set used is called For the Record.

This card is extra fun as it has an interactive element on the front. the record opens to reveal a secret message.

Artisan Design Team - January 2022 - Sweet Conversations Collection

Hello friends! Welcome to my blog. If you are new here my name is Charlet Mallett and I love to make share cards that I’ve created. You can follow more regular posting on my Instagram @i.heart.stamps . I’m a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since 2011 and am a current member of the Artisan Design Team.

Today I’m excited to share my first official Artisan assignment featuring three fun cards using the Sweet Conversations bundle. I’m happy to share a few tips and tidbits about each of these projects and hope you will be inspired to try ideas like these in your cardmaking.

This card measures 3” x 6”. The card base is Sahara Sand and I’ve used the Gingham Embossing folder to add a little texture to the card. I love it when dies coordinate with stamps and Designer Series Papers. The hearts on this card were chopped from the pattern papers and also from matching cardstock to create a whimsical banner. I tacked all the hearts together to create the banner shape using Stampin' Seal and then quickly stitched using an old sewing machine for a little extra handmade flair.

This XOXO card uses many of the dies from the Sweat Heart dies. I’ve stamped the XOXO and hand cut out to create the primary focal point. I’ve used many of the die cuts to cluster and surround the XOXO. The Sweat Heart Dies cut lots of mini hearts. I’ve gathered these all up and sewn them into a little vellum pouch that acts like a shaker on the front of the card.

Hugs and kisses. This card is all about the X & O. Lots of stamping in Petal Pink to create a repeating background. The stamp background has been trimmed and mounted to a piece of embossed gingham on Basic White. That whole business has been mounted onto the soft Petal Pink pattern from the Sweet Talk Designer Series Papers.
