Monday Montage 186 - Zoo Globe

March 21, 2021

Hello friends. I am making birthday cards this week, always in need of a good birthday card.

My card today uses the ‘Zoo Globe’ Stamp set. I haven’t used this stamp set much but it is adorable and super fun to color. This is a simple card and the stamped images are really the focal point and the star of the show. The globe and elephant have been colored using Stampin’ Blends.

The Monday Montage crew is a talented bunch. A quick refresher: the Montage gals host a blog hop every other Monday showing you fun and exciting Stampin’ Up! products.

Ready for more Stampin’ Up! inspiration? Be sure to loop through the entire hop and see all of the amazing artwork created just to inspire! Next up is Cheryl. Thanks for stopping by.

Tasteful Touches - Stamp Review Crew

March 14, 2021

Hello friends! Welcome to the Tasteful Touches Stamp Review Crew Hop. Did you happen to see my designer interview earlier this week? You can check that out on the Stamp Review Crew Blog.

What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month. All of our previous stamp set reviews are archived. Click here to see all of the hops!

Tasteful Touches is an amazing stamp set. It’s so versatile and every projects turns out stunning. I created two cards today and played around with texture and color to create these rich beauties. A full list of supplies can be found below.

One thing I wanted to point out about these two cards is how different the large flower image can look when stamped in various inks. The top card uses Soft Suede as the ink color creating a warm and earthy looking flower. The bottom card has been stamped in Rich Razzleberry making the flower look bright and saturated in color.

Ready for more inspiration using this stamp set? Next up is Jay. Be sure to go through the hop to see what ALL my talented friends have created using this set. Thanks in advance for taking the time to comment. I love to hear from you.
