Snailed It - Hello Card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!
Given the HELLO theme of this post I thought it would be fun to introduce myself by way of a HELLO card. Hallo, hello, bonjour! This cute card features the Snail Mail Product Collection. A full list of card supplies card be found below.
This card came together easily once I determined the basic layout. I’ve incorporated the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch and created a simple background grid pattern using the punched imaged. These create natural frames for all the thought bubbles which were cut from the Snail Mail Designer Series papers.
Mr. Snail has been colored using Stampin’ Blends. I had some googlie eyes in my crafting stash and they fit perfectly over the snail eyes.

This week I am making Easter cards and I didn’t buy any new Easter sets this year. Oops. I got a little funky with my card for this sketch challenge. I took the basic sketch and then really went to town with stamps and punches. This card uses three stamp sets and three punch shapes. I altered the image from the ‘You Are Amazing"‘ set to read Hip Hop Hooray. I created Bunny ears using the Perennial punch and pulled in a straight forward Easter greeting using the Itty Bitty Greetings set. Turned out fun and different. That’s what I like about sketch challenges, they set the template and then you can build and create from there. A full list of supplies can be found below.

Hello friends. Happy March. I am making birthday cards this week. It’s still blistering cold here in Maine and so crafting indoors in my free time makes sense. Lol.
My card today uses ‘You Are Amazing’ Stamp set. I hand drew thought bubbles around the various sentiments so I could use them all together on a card. Kind of a fun and different way to use a stamp set.
Fun bonus! The card layout is inspired by the sketch challenge from Global Design Project #GDP282
