Vegas Baseball

We spent last weekend in Vegas for Andrew's baseball tournament. Quick trip, down and back sandwiched 4 games. Lots of park time for Nicholas and Ben made some money supervising the park play so Chris and I could watch the games.

Breadsticks, sprinklers & sports

Another full & fun weekend! Andrew had a baseball tournament (4 games), Ben had a soccer party, and Chris took both boys to a REAL game. They had a blast!

Nic and I made breadsticks for Ben's soccer party. Hit the playground hard before the baseball games and enjoyed outdoor time at the games. While I wore sunscreen I still broke out in sun hives on my upper chest and tops of feet. Stinking sun allergy!

Nic is napping, just not when and where I want him too.

I've been hardening off my plants and Saturday night I forgot to bring them indoors. I freaked out a little bit. I think they'll be ok, a little worse for the wear but survived. I'm a gardening loser!

Somehow we fit in turning on the sprinklers, a little yard work and bike riding.

This family is ready to keep the warmer weather.

Random notes - April

Wow, this month is flying by. I feel like we've spent the month in our car, at sporting events and buried in the day to day.

The past few weeks have been fairly routine. I guess reason for lack of posting?

Few updates:
Seeds we planted are going crazy. Ive transplanted and now I'm trying to harden off the plants and have no idea what I am doing. Any help or tips are greatly appreciated.

Card club happened. I will post more about that later.

I attended the SU Riverton regional as a demonstrator. Saw many old coworkers and friends. It was nice to catch up. Miss my people.

I've been doing quite a bit more freelance and that has been fun and good. Turns out I like to design stuff. :)

I'm also working on a fun project for a friend. More on that later.

We've been making and freezing meals for Grandma. I drop them to her every few weeks.

Chris finished another semester. Wahoo! I just ordered his books and he starts another semester next week.

Chris almost broke his toe, showing off some soccer moves. Ouch.

Nic likes to pretend he's potty trained. Not at all. He also refuses to nap (in his bed). He'll sleep in the car. He is giving me serious bedtime grief. "Mama, you mean" when I try to put him to bed, over and over. But he can tell you his birthday, and which hand is right & left. Mr. Smarty!

Ben is the goal scoring master. Two hat tricks back to back!!! Go Ben. He keeps signing up for safety patrol. Two weeks in a row is enough Ben.

Andrew is enjoying baseball and school. He got a 4.0 again this term. That makes 3 in a row baby!

Life is good and busy. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks. Mainly of Nic as he is my loving and constant companion. Love that boy.

Thanks for reading.
