Happy VDay- Belated

Happy VDay - little overdue

Happy Valentine's day! Even though this is a few days past we still love ya!

Here is a sweet clip from Nicholas and his chocolate covered mouth wishing you love.

And for remembering purposes the simple gifts for the boys.

Valentine Preparation

We finished Ben's valentine box, at the ninth hour... Nicholas NEEDED to make one too. So fun, so cute. They are alligators.

Ben also finished assembling all of his class valentines with a little help from mom. No candy this year to coincide with Ben's year without candy...

Oh, a side note- avoid See's Candies the day before Valentines. Check out this line.. Notice it's all men. Lol.

Card Club - February

Hey gals!  Here are February projects using mostly Spring catalog and SAB products.   Thanks Julie S. and her upline meeting last week and for the great ideas.

2. Cut three pieces of contrasting card stock

3-1/2 x 4-5/8
4-1/4 x 11 or 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 folded for card base
3. Layer the White or vanilla card stock pieces and stamp.
4. Alternate layers of the stamped card stock and contrasting card stock, adhere.

Faux chalkboard effect using Oh, Hello stamp set and whisper white craft ink. Just stamp the craft ink directly onto the black card stock, then with a sponge lightly buff and smear to get the chalky effect. Easy.

Sweet and simple doily card using Oh, Hello stamp set, paper doilies and whisper white craft ink.

And lastly, here is a shot of the sweet Valentines I made for the card club girls. Looks like candy. Craft candy.

Congratulations Megan!

I just watched the live feed of Megan (Chris's sister) receive her bachelors in Business Management from WGU! Way to go Megan! We are so proud of you. Such a huge accomplishment. Chris was able to read her name onstage and Leslie cheered from the audience. I could see and hear it all.

Here are some photos from last nights mixer and I just snapped some phone stills of the Atlanta feed broadcast. Gotta love technology.

Congratulations Megan!
