Milking the last few days of summer...Not really ready for school to start Friday.

Today has been so nice outside but I feel miserable. I've caught some bug (Chris had it all last week) and I ache, sore throat and ears and basically feel run down. No fun. Andrew has been a lifesaver taking care of and helping out with Nicholas. Chris is in Texas this week so the kids and I are on our own. I'm hoping tomorrow will be better... Chris was ill for 5 days.

Quote of the day from Andrew as he burbs loudly and laughs "you don't have enough energy to scold me". True.

Back into the groove of regular life... Yesterday Andrew got his middle school class schedule and we promptly visited the school to map out his classes and got the locker all figured out. Big changes and he is excited. His first day is Friday.

Today we went back to school shopping, a little yard work and resumed the soccer practice schedule. Nicholas spent a half hour in Ben's soccer cleats. He is ready to go!

Disneyland & California Adventure

Yesterday we spent the day at Disneyland. It was a blast and the lines weren't too bad. Nicholas loved it and so did the older boys however they preferred California Adventure (we went on Tuesday) for rides like tower of Terror and Cars land.

Phish in Long Beach - happy anniversary

The Long Beach Phish show was fantastic and a nice anniversary treat for me and Chris. Happy 16 years!

We scored a show poster (yeah me #80 of 675), we walked the lot (same old) and enjoyed some great music, dancing and people watching.

Chris downloaded the show afterwards and has been reliving since.

We sat on the balcony Fishman side. The light show was amazing and we got a rare glimpse backstage as most of the bands family watched from below us. Apparently Justin Bieber was at the show too. Now we are cool.
