Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we took the boys and we went pumpkin picking.  Andrew and Benjamin were all over looking for the biggest pumpkin thy could each find and Nicholas was content to pat, pat, pat the pumpkins.  After we made out pumpkin selection Andrew wheeled these heavy, heavy pumpkins up to the enormous payment line. There was also a corn maze at the pumpkin patch which was thrilling for all three boys.  Andrew and Benjamin would run ahead and hide and then Nicholas would come along and get spooked.  Lots of giggles.

I tried my hardest to get some good shots of the boys.  They are are so impatient with me and having their photo taken.  I need to get myself a super long lens and disappear from their view.

Amy E, coworker, is making these darling Joy Banners for Christmas gifts.  I think this is a fun project and would love to make one of my own.  I am trying to figure out how to link all of these "make" posts together on a separate page.  I have made a "MAKE" page but it seems I can add this post to that link. Anyone with tips?

Dynamic views - fail

Ok - so I was (and am) loving the look of the Dynamic views template in blogger however the lack of control over the customization was killing me.  I have switched back temporarily until blogger makes a few needed updates or I can write my own code. I know widgets and crap are not the coolest but I do want to house some links and things occasionally and like having that option.  Thank you for your patience while I change up the blog... the few of you out there reading this blog.

Decor for the basement

I've started my wall decor of fabric and cross stitch hoops based from a display I saw in New York. I've found most of the hoops at thrift stores for around a dollar each. The fabric is mostly from SU. A fun and cheap project I can swap out on a whim. Color of photo is poor, forgive the phone photo.
