Day 2 - Yellowstone to Montana

Taking a break near Billings, MT on a warm, sunny, Sunday afternoon. Rest area lunch has never tasted so good.

We spent the morning driving through the northeast corner of Yellowstone - saw plenty of bison and waterfalls along the way. Lots and lots of green!

We entered Montana by way of the Beartooth Scenic Byway. This was easily the scariest drive of my life. Narrow two lane roads with high snowbanks on either side (tight). We traversed dozens of switchbacks to nearly 11,000 ft. Unbelievable views of glacier carved valleys from up top.

Long drive to the Mt. Rushmore area tonight.
