The end of summer is noted with the city pool closing. The Alta pool hosts a dogs only day, Dippin' Dogs, and we thought it'd be a fun idea to have Lucy participate. She needed much coaxing from Andrew and Benjamin to get into the pool. It would have been so much easier to get Lucy in the water if the boys were allowed into the pool but for safety reasons it was dogs only. Next year we will get Lucy to run and dive off of the Doggie diving board (we did see a dog or two jump off the regular diving board, too funny!). You would have thought a dog day at the pool would be crazy but it was reasonably sane. All the various dogs, big & little, got along well. Warning: watch out for dogs exciting the pool and shaking off, you will get wet!
