We took a 2 mile tour of Mammoth Cave in Kentucky this afternoon. We walked to a depth of 310 feet below the surface. No crawling, but we did go through some narrow and short spots. The cave certainly lives up to its name with more than 350 miles of limestone tunnels and enormous caverns to explore. The surface of the park is lush and green. Nice spot.
Camping here tonight before heading to St. Louis for the Arch and a Cardinals game tomorrow.
