March Card Club - Happy Watercolor, Starburst Sayings & Peachy Keen

Timely this month... Thanks for the great time ladies! Here are the club projects for March. Gold is good again, and most projects feature a little bit of gold (foil sheets, cardstock, embellishments, bakers twine). We mainly used the Happy Watercolor, the Starburst Sayings, and the Peachy Keen stamp sets and coordinating framelits. All of these are currently available for purchase and can also be seen in the Occasions/Spring mini catalog.  If you have questions about these products or additional products used on these samples please contact me.

These cards and previous club cards can be found in one place on my pinterest board.

This Happy Easter card shows a fun way to use the watercolor image from the Happy Watercolor set and punches. Simple stamp the watercolor image in a color and then use punches in the same color of cardstock to layer. A small oval punch make a cute egg. Super simple.

You make the World a Better place card also features all of the components from the Good as Gold card kit available as a with purchase gift in the Sale-a-bration brochure.

This last project came from my fabulous upline... Ms Julie Shaw. Super simple gift card holder with paper bow.  Project comes together in minutes and it a nice way to use up all that paper. If you are interested you can see more of her projects here.

February Card Club

Super fun time this month at card club.  Below are a few of the many project we made this month (including some close up for detail).  We focused on the products from the Spring Catalog and the Salebration brochure.  A popular favorite was the Petite Flowers punch and stamp set.  Really cute, simple and easy to use.  We all like this bundle so much we ordered it and put the stupid thing on backorder. Oh well.

This last card is a CASE taken from Julie Shaw. The original was a traditional sized card but I reduced it to a gift card size. This card uses SAB products.

MOTIVATION... Card making?

Getting a little crafty around here as I try to get inspired.  This smoggy cold weather has left me feeling a bit down and totally unmotivated. WHAT IS MY DEAL? I've never really felt like this. Plus, Nicholas has been sick. No fun.

I pushed myself to sit down and make a few things and that sure has helped me get a little more motivated. Here are a few simple thank you cards I've made over the last few days.

The red and white stripped card below is altered from the November Paper Pumkin' kit.
