Club 40

It's official. I've entered another decade. A friend mentioned I've made it into club 40 and I like that outlook - I'm keeping it.

Chris and the boys helped me celebrate the big day with wonderful gifts, a gorgeous cake and nice dinner out.  A wonderful neighbor brought over some delicious european pastries and I received many calls and a few cards in the mail.  I was more popular on social media than I have ever been. LOVE.

It was a great day and I want to thank all my friends and family for recognizing me. I love you all!

The Great American Road Trip

Andrew, Benjamin, and I leave soon for an long drive across America. We'll visit Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands, Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Niagara Falls, and the Baseball Hall of Fame along our way east. We also plan to take in three MLB games - one at Minnesota's Target Field and then two at Boston's Fenway Park.

After a two week break (and working remotely for me) in New Hampshire, we'll drive back to Utah with stops in DC to celebrate the 4th of July and in St. Louis to see a Cardnial's game and visit the Arch. Charlet and Nicholas are flying to meet us in NH as Nicholas is not quite ready for all this driving.

We're excited and can't wait to hit the road next weekend.

Family Party

Chris went all out planning and hosting a family party for my 37th birthday. Chris made all of the food and ordered a Nothing Bundt Cake, YUM! I felt really loved. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful family. We had an awesome time. Here are a few photos from the night.

Thanks again to everyone for coming.

Four Wheeling w/Grandpa

The boys and I enjoyed a great day four wheeling with Grandpa. We rode a few river washes, hiked to an old rock walled fort, and found dinosaur tracks (yes, real dinosaur tracks!). Charlet asked me to send a few pictures to her blog.
